• Create SEO content briefs
• Review and audit existing content to find new and missed   opportunities
• own on-page optimization (H1, H2s, internal/external links, title and   meta, structured data, URL, etc.)
• Work on organic growth initiatives with team including Local SEO
• Track, analyze and report using Google Analytics, Google Search   Console and SEO industry tools
• Do extensive keyword research to align with our SEO strategy &   business goals
• Keep current with Google algorithm updates
• Monitor project status and work closely with developers/BAs

• 10 - 12 years of experience in SEO and content creation in a full-time or internship capacity
• Excellent written skills; ability to organize and present information   on screen and verbally with a team
• Understanding of search engine optimization best practices and   principles
• Desire to learn all aspects of SEO
• Knowledge of on-page and off-page ranking factors
• Familiarity with industry tools such as Google Search Console, Google   Analytics, BrightEdge, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog/crawling tools
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced   environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• HTML knowledge preferred but not required
