• Perform numerical simulations using tools like Ansys Workbench, LS-Dyna, nCode etc. on all in-house HVAC&R components as part of new product development
• Work closely with CAD Designers, CFD, Manufacturing and Sourcing Engineers to solve field issues, identify the critical locations and providing design solutions during early in the design cycle, to verify the structural integrity, reliability of the product
• Perform Linear and Non-Linear FEA
• Automate FEA workflow using Python APIs
• Perform Static and Dynamic analysis like Vibration, Modal, Harmonic, Random vibration, Rotor Dynamics analysis, Handling, Shipping/Transportation analysis using Ansys tools
• Perform Impact and Drop analysis using LS-DYNA tool.
• Write analysis reports and other technical documents.
• Short travel to international locations may occur as part of the role.
• Perform independent research and create methodologies and standard process documents for simulations

• Able to independently execute projects with little or no guidance
• Strong knowledge of Solid Mechanics and Strength of Materials
