Under general direction, designs and builds cloud applications using cloud technologies (PaaS, IaaS), database query languages, and web programming languages.

Solves complex problems based on expertise with designing cloud solution. Interacts with business customers to formulate and define system scope and objectives. Conducts data modeling, configuration, specification development, coding, testing, and documentation. Conducts cloud capacity planning. Applies best practices in security for cloud applications.

◦  Proficiency in C#,.Net, and JavaScript with at least 5 years of experience.
  ◦  At least 3 years of experience with Azure Services.
  ◦  Knowledge of Azure Function App, Azure Application Insights, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Monitor, Azure App service, Log Analytic, Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage, Azure Devops.
  ◦  Experience in Support/Operations

Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years related experience.

Thorough knowledge of Public and Private Cloud Platforms deployment of applications (AWS, Azure, Cloudera, etc.). Broad knowledge of programming languages such as .NET, Java, J2EE, Spring, Python, Perl and PHP. Understanding of web services and APIs like RESTful and SOAP. Knows Agile practices for development. Knows design patterns, UML, and object- oriented programming. Experience handling database schemas in source code. Thorough understanding of security for cloud applications, cloud capacity planning, notification, monitoring, and logging. Must be able to communicate effectively with both end users and IT staff, as well as business management.
