Job Description

  • Maintain and update electronic BOMs for PCB assemblies, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Manage and update the component library, including adding new components and deprecating obsolete parts.
  • Oversee BOM management in Windchill or similar PLM tools, ensuring proper version control and accessibility.
  • Process and release Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) in alignment with company standards and workflows.
  • Collaborate with design, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure BOM consistency across projects.
  • Conduct periodic audits of BOMs and libraries to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical support to engineering teams regarding BOM and library-related queries.
  • Support updating engineering drawings using AutoCAD/Creo or similar CAD software.
  • Maintain engineering documentation/design files in SharePoint / ADO

Qualifications

  • Diploma /Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with BOM structures, PCB design processes, and electronic components.
  • Experience with Windchill or similar Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
  • A good understanding of PCB design software (e.g., PADS, Altium, or similar) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Creo, or similar) is a plus.
  • Basic experience with Microsoft SharePoint / ADO
  • Excellent organizational and data management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments.
