Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead VIM Specialist with extensive expertise in OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) to oversee and streamline invoice processing operations. This role requires a proactive professional who thrives in self‑managed environments, demonstrates sound judgment under limited guidance, and can drive automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.

 

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage invoice processing activities primarily during LITC shift, with regular meetings during US hours for monitoring and progress discussions.
  • Lead initiatives to drive and streamline automation within OpenText/VIM.
  • Collaborate with integrated suppliers to ensure seamless invoice workflows and compliance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance in resolving complex issues, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoice processing.
  • Independently navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions to support operational excellence.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in VIM, supporting cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

 

  • 10 to 14 Years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable
  • Extensive hands‑on experience with OpenText/VIM in a lead role.
  • Strong background in automation and process optimization.
  • Proven ability to work with integrated suppliers and manage vendor relationships.
  • Ability to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across global teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in self‑managed environments.
