Job Description

The Lead – Marketing Automation & Analytics role blends marketing automation expertise with analytical rigor to enhance campaign performance, personalization, and ROI. You will lead efforts in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), paid media, web, and social analytics, translating data into actionable insights and driving continuous improvement in marketing effectiveness. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure marketing programs are data-driven, customer-centric, and aligned with business objectives.

 

                Marketing Automation – Journeys, Campaigns & Analytics

  • Marketing Automation – Journeys, Campaigns & Analytics
  • Lead the design, development, and execution of multi-channel marketing automation campaigns on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Build and optimize sophisticated email, SMS, MMS, and push programs using segmentation, personalization, automation, and A/B testing to maximize engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product) to align automation strategies with business goals and customer journeys.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to measure ROI, identify trends, and deliver actionable recommendations for optimization.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports summarizing key marketing KPIs, insights, and lessons learned.
  • Partner with analytics teams to enhance data-driven decision-making and continuously improve campaign effectiveness.

 

                 Digital, Campaign and Social Analytics

  • Monitor and analyze data across social media, digital, and web platforms to evaluate performance, engagement, and reach.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs and translate business needs into tracking specifications and actionable insights.
  • Develop reports and dashboards highlighting key social, digital, and campaign metrics to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze user journeys, funnels, and channel performance to identify optimization and personalization opportunities.
  • Support campaign analytics and optimization by forecasting impact, tracking KPIs, and providing recommendations to improve performance.
  • Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests, leveraging AI/ML techniques for better targeting, segmentation, and predictive insights.
  • Continuously improve analytics processes and manage requests through Azure DevOps to ensure alignment with business objectives.

 

                 General/Soft skills:

 

  • Azure DevOps Management: Utilize Azure DevOps (Visual Studios) to manage Epics, Features, and User Stories related to data tracking and reporting initiatives.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of tracking implementations, configurations, and processes.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, attention to detail and business acumen skills.
  • Work hours: Available for meetings and discussions until 12 noon CST
  • Adaptability: The candidate should be willing to adapt to the evolving needs of the Marketing teams and support appropriately.

 

Nice to have experience:

Paid Campaigns

  • Plan and execute paid campaigns across digital channels, ensuring accurate setup, targeting, and tracking.
  • Optimize campaign performance through data analysis, budget pacing, audience management, and compliance.
  • Translate insights into actionable improvements to meet ROI and conversion goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (12+ years) in digital marketing, specifically marketing automation and analytics
  • Experience in running marketing automation campaigns. Experience with SFMC is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in integrating data from multiple sources to drive actionable insights
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Paid Ads is a plus
