Job Description

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   •  Monitor e‑commerce application servers, services, and system availability, ensuring uninterrupted platform operations.
  •  Handle incidents escalated from L1/Command Center and perform initial analysis to identify impact and next steps.
  • Coordinate with monitoring teams for alerts, anomalies, and system warnings, driving timely resolutions.
  • Escalate issues to L3 teams when required, with proper technical context and documentation.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks such as cronjob monitoring, configuration checks, and basic import/export operations
  • Support environment health checks across Dev/QA/UAT/Prod and assist in deployment readiness activities.
  • Maintain and update SOPs, runbooks, and incident documentation to ensure operational excellence.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to problem‑management efforts for recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth system operations and effective communication.
  • Continuously learn platform administration concepts and grow towards advanced e‑commerce system support responsibilities.
  • Knowledge and experience in SAP Java stack administration is a strong plus.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical system and ensuring 24x7 availability of production system.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritizing and controlling own workload and delivering in a timely fashion.
  • Effective contributor to project teams and possess written and oral communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related discipline or equivalent experience required.

Minimum 1-2 years of Administration / L1 Support Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a technical operations role.
  • Basic understanding of application support frameworks (L1/L2/L3).
  • Familiarity with server environments (Linux preferably), logs, and monitoring dashboards.
  • Strong analytical mindset and willingness to troubleshoot issues.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with multiple teams.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to e‑commerce platform administration
  • Exposure to any e‑commerce platform
  • Basic understanding of SQL, APIs, or system integration concepts.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools
  • Scripting familiarity (Shell/Python) is a bonus.
