• Execute end-to-end PO management (Order confirmation, maintenance, closure) in SAP based on MRP signals.
• Lead supplier communication to ensure timely order acknowledgements, delivery alignment, and required order adjustments.
• Ensure timely resolution of invoice discrepancies to support accurate and on-time supplier payments.
• Proactively identify supply risks and propose alternate sourcing, substitution, or logistics solutions to avoid service disruptions.
• Negotiate delivery expedites and recovery plans with critical suppliers.
• Ensure timely order confirmation compliance and accurate updates in SAP.
• Track shipments with suppliers, LSPs, and transport partners, providing early warnings on delays or de-commits.
• Support aftermarket inventory availability in high-mix, demand-volatile environments.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports and dashboards for KPIs such as OTIF, backlog, and supplier adherence.
• Own and drive KPI and SLA performance with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Support crisis situations including demand spikes, supply disruptions, and process changes.
• Contribute to process documentation and improvement, supporting team ramp-up and scalability.
• Any Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain / Logistics certification preferred).
• 6–10 years of experience in Buying / Procurement with exposure to Aftermarket, Service Parts, or MRO environments.
• Strong experience in direct procurement, supplier management, and logistics coordination.
• Hands-on experience with SAP (MM) or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting new team setup or transition is an added advantage.
