Job Description
- Review, prepare, draft, negotiate and administer a variety of commercial agreements (e.g., master services agreement, event agreements, statements of work, amendments, change orders).
- Engage in critical issue spotting and resolution of issues
- Demonstrate understanding of key contractual concepts and risk areas, including but not limited to limitation of liability, indemnification, intellectual property rights, licensing, warranty, confidentiality, information security/data privacy, audit rights and revenue recognition
- Collaborate with other Legal Team members and business teams located at the company’s US-based headquarters on issues as they arise
- Be responsible for contract management activities, including filing, monitoring and tracking within Lennox’s contract management system
Qualifications
- Requires a law degree from an accredited law school in India
- 4+ years of experience with contract management and contractual risk allocation. Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to different situations. Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with commercial contracts in a large corporate environment, preferably at a manufacturing company and/or reviewing information technology agreements
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members as well as different stakeholders across departments
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proven conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues
- Positive, can-do attitude, with eagerness to continually learn and grow
