Job Description

 

We are seeking a skilled SCADA Developer with hands-on experience in Ignition SCADA to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in SCADA/PLC development, with a strong background in integrating industrial control systems using modern automation protocols.

 

Key Responsibilities

 - Design, develop, and maintain SCADA applications using Ignition SCADA.

 - Interface PLCs with SCADA systems through protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, and other industrial communication standards.

 - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement controls solutions.

 - Troubleshoot and optimize SCADA/PLC systems to ensure reliability and performance.

 - Document system architecture, configurations, and workflows for ongoing support and compliance.

 

Required Qualifications

 

 - 3–5 years of experience in SCADA/PLC development.

 - Ignition SCADA experience is a MUST. Ignition Core or Gold Certification is highly desirable.

 - Strong knowledge of automation protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, etc.).

 - Proven ability to integrate PLCs with SCADA systems.

 - Experience with multiple PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.).

 - Familiarity with industrial networking and cybersecurity best practices.

 - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Requires at least 5 years related experience.

Strong knowledge in controls hardware, software, and algorithms. Expertise in integration of the electronic controls subsystems. Proficient in system modeling and simulation. Able to perform circuit analysis to determine power, currents and voltages for all circuit components. Knowledge of trouble-shooting and root cause analysis methods. Good understanding and hands on experience on Reliability tools. Excellent coordinating with cross functional team across global. Broad knowledge about developing and documenting electronic qualification testing. Able to manage vendors and suppliers for project delivery and integration. Knowledge of reliability procedures and how to design to meet reliability goals. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Familiar with concepts and processes of root cause analysis and correction and failure modes effect analysis.
