Job Description

 

  • Design and develop electrical systems for HVAC products, including control panels, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Create detailed electrical drawings using tools such as AutoCAD / EPLAN / SolidWorks Electrical
  • Develop and validate control strategies for HVAC systems (AHU, Chillers, Rooftop Units, etc.)
  • Selection of electrical components such as sensors, PLCs, relays, drives, and control devices
  • Ensure designs comply with international standards (UL, CE, IEC, NEC, etc.)
  • Work closely with mechanical, software, and systems teams for integrated product development
  • Support prototype build, testing, and validation activities
  • Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and design improvements
  • Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and design reports

 

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Requires at least 5 years related experience.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components (Chillers, AHUs, HVAC controls)
  • Experience in electrical design and schematic development
  • Hands-on experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, etc.)
  • Good understanding of control systems, PLCs, VFDs, and sensors
  • Knowledge of electrical standards and safety regulations
  • Understanding of panel design and wiring practices
  • Exposure to Digital Twin / system modeling is an added advantage
